MASTER COLLOQUIUM INFORMATION DESIGN SS25

What does it mean to design with information? This colloquium offers an open space for experimentation, design, discussion, reflection and criticism. It is aimed at Master's students who want to bring their own projects or develop new ideas in the field of tension between information, design and technology. The colloquium will not follow a classic seminar structure, but rather unfold as a self-organizing experimental space.

In the first session, we will start with a series of questions to map out interests and working methods:

• What project or idea are you currently working on?
• Which work or design has inspired you the most in the last six months?
• Which text has changed your perspective on design?

Based on these conversations, we develop a dynamic for the semester together: whether theoretical discussions, joint experiments, case studies or workshops - the colloquium thrives on the active participation of the participants. The aim is to facilitate a productive discourse that combines theory and practice, explores the boundaries of information design and opens up new perspectives.
